- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Directorate of Contracting - Fort Benning, GA intends to Sole Source a 3 month bridge contract to the FerrellGas, 3909 G US Hwy 80W 36870 for delivery of Propane, Gas, Liquefied Bulk Type II. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE BIDS. Fully competitive Bids are in hand and are being evaluated for a follow on contract to W911SF-05-D-0008. The bids have been opened and are under evaluation; however, due to technical problems with some of the bids, the evaluation is taking longer than anticipated. Therefore, this requirement is necessary as a bridge contract to allow time to properly complete new contract requirements and to provide Fort Benning and Camp Merrill with required propane in the interim. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP). The anticipated award date is no later than 30 March 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 454312 with a size standard of 500.
