- RESPONSES TO VENDOR QUESTIONS (CONT.) - Raceway partitions are not prewired. - Most of the prewired systems are three phase with a seperate dedicated circuit. - COMM is an extension of existing outlets however, raceways are not required back to the server room. - In regards to vendor concerns of the fiber optic cable not being able to be terminate in the manner described due to inability to provide required bend radius for fiber optic cables, customer believes furniture manufacturer would take that into consideration and in worse case scenario, the back plate could be taken off if possible too avoid too much bending of the fiber. Customer states the back plate should be facing the wall and out of sight. - In regards to Rooms 110, 111, and 112, floorplan shows four (4) data drops in each room; Each room has two (2) sets of fiber and CAT6. One (1) set of CAT6 has five (5) and the other has four (4). The fiber is the same on each set. - Room 110, 111, and 112 are all wall mounted. - Room 110, 111, and 112; cable and fiber are already existing. - Customer needs clarification in regard to headband equipment. - Room 104 and 116 are all new fiber and cable. - Customer is not supplying the mod-furniture plates for the data plates.' - All jacks are to be installed in the steel plates and not in the fabric. - Customer states no fiber is needed, simply retermination is needed. - Customer states that fiber could be run directly to PC if manufacturer specified bend radius is likely to be exceeded. ***SITE VISIT WILL NOT BE HELD BEFORE SOLICITATION CLOSE DATE AT THIS TIME*** ***SOLICITATIONN CLOSE DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO ALLOW FOR VENDOR ADJUSTMENT DUE TO CUSTOMER RESPONSES; NEW CLOSE DATE IS 10 FEB 2011 @ 1200PST.***
