- Salient Characteristics for SAW ABU Pouches Back Side of SAW ABU Pouch Front Side of SAW ABU Pouch This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 11TC191 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49 and DFARS change notice 20110120. This solicitation is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 314911 with a size standard 500 employees. The contractor shall provide the following items: Item 0001: QTY - 8,800 EA. S.A.W. Pouches, ABU with ALICE Clips (See attachment for Salient Characteristics & Photographs of the Pouch) The contractor shall provide a First Article Sample by no later than 23 February 2011 3:00 P.M. (CST) to: 802 CONS, 1655 Selfridge Avenue, Attn: M. Delgado, Lackland AFB TX 78236-5253. First Article Sample will be evaluated by the government to ensure it meets all technical requirements prior to contractor manufacturing all items. Items must be manufactured in compliance with Berry Amendment USC, Title 10, Section 2533a. A Sample of the requested S.A.W. Pouch is available for viewing at the 802d Contracting Squadron (1655 Selfridge Ave, Bldg 5450, Lackland AFB, TX 78236-5253). FOB: Destination. Upon acceptance of First Article Sample by the Government, Delivery for the remaining quantity will be to: BMT Warehouse, Bldg 5189, Lackland AFB TX 78236-5253. The Government required delivery is 42 days after receipt of the award. Price will include delivery/transportation cost. Quote must be valid for 60 days. Offeror must quote on all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation, First Article Sample is acceptable to the Government, and provides the best value to the Government. Please include CAGE code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, FOB Point, and Payment and Discount Terms with your quote. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions.
