Description

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Information Resources intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Doxcelerate Corporation, of Santa Fe, NM for technical and computer systems management required to maintain and enhance the online DOE Directives Portal services and the online Directives Review and Comment System (RevCom), to provide monthly business process, systems training, system maintenance and server hosting and maintenance support. These systems are the central online applications used to coordinate, communicate, manage, and maintain the Department's Directives, an activity that supports the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The period of performance for requirement is a (12) twelve month base period and four (12) twelve month option years. The applicable authority is 10 U.S.C.2304 (d) (B), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1[a] [2] [ii] [B], which authorizes other than full and open competition when there is only one responsible source and no other s upplies or services that will satisfy agency requirements; and when it is likely that an award to any other source may result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties should submit a capability statement for the requirement within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
