- DESCRIPTION: UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION NSN(s) 4720-01-286-1982 Quantity 181 Unit of Issue: EA ITEM DESCRIPTION FOR PR: 0040553407 HOSE ASSEMBLY, NONMETALLIC. RUBBER, SUCTION AND DISCHARGE. THIS SHELF LIFE ITEM IS NON-EXTENDABLE, CODE W, WITH A TOTAL SHELF LIFE OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY MONTHS. MATERIAL FURNISHED UNDER THIS CONTRACT/ORDER SHALL HAVE AT LEAST 85% (102 MONTHS) OF THE SHELF LIFE REMAINING AT TIME OF DELIVERY. CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM EATON-AEROQUIP INC DIV FLUID (01276) P/N FK6240RRR0740 All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN. The intent is that the solicitation will result in an award of a contract for 181 each. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 24 FEBRUARY 2011 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisition of a 3/C item; This 3 AMC code implies that the item has been screened and found to be procured from the actual manufacturer, or vendor, including a prime contractor who is the actual manufacturer. The C AMSC code indicates contracting from approved source. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. Inspection/acceptance will be at destination. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued on an Unrestricted basis.
