- This acquisition includes the purchase of a code and part number item where General Dynamics C4 Systems, Inc. (1VPW8) and Denke Laboratories, Inc. (46804) are the approved manufacturers and/or has supplied the item in the past. The intent is to award a large purchase contract with the possibility of exercising a 50% option. Solicitation and NSN will be available for download on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. NSN(s): 5985-01-412-9036 Item Description: Antenna Manufacturer's Code and Part Number: General Dynamics C4 Systems, Inc. (1VPW8) P/N 85-P35990M001 and Denke Laboratories, Inc. (46804) P/N DC113X4 Quantity 153 each with a 50% option for an additional 77 each for the possibility of a total quantity of 230 each. Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: New Cumberland, PA and Stockton, CA Delivery Schedule: 75 days All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date of February 23, 2011. The small business size standard is 750 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains a 50% option for increased quantities. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: General Dynamics C4 Systems, Inc. (1VPW8) and Denke Laboratories, Inc. (46804). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
