- RFQ PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number LDQ004337 The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423390 Storage bins merchant wholesalers. The size standard is 100 employees. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business Brand Name or equal items are acceptable for this procurement. If an equal item is proposed specs must be included with the quote to show that it is an equal item Requested Items: Item# Description Qty 1 Expandable Weapon Storage Racks 1 2 Mobile Tracking Systems with Expandable Weapons Rack (EWR) 1 3. Installation 1 Mandatory Technical Requirements 1. Each expandable weapons rack (EWR) system must fit within a 150 inch square and allow for at least a 29" aisle within the system. 2. (EWR) must be double sided so each rack gives at least 24ft of storage. 3. The 4 double EWRs must give at least 96 ft of mobile storage. 4. EWR length of storage should be configured to hold at least 620 long-guns (top and bottom) PLUS at least 60 ft of linear storage (plain solid metal shelves which should be provided). 5. The system needs to be fully adjustable (increments of between 1 to 3 inches)) (with available accessories/components) to accommodate any conventional weapon to include pistols, carbines, PDWs, rifles (to include heavy/long 50BMG rifles), crew-served weapons such as the M2 50BMG, M240, M249, RPG launchers, MK 19 grenade launcher). 6. The system needs to have the ability to accommodate adjustable bases, barrel saddles (both horizontal and vertical to accommodate a varied inventory of weapons.) 7. The EWR must be extremely adaptable and configurable. We do not want a system that is only suitable for your garden variety AR-style rifles Please note that the Contracting Officer (CO) for this RFQ will be Lauren Caperton and the Contract Specialist will be Montarious Usher all questions and responses for this RFQ shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist Montarious Usher (only) via email to montarious.usher@ic.fbi.gov Shipping: All deliveries under this order shall be FOB destination. All items procured under this order will be delivered to Quantico, Virginia.
