- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is a Brand Name HP Acquisition. Therefore, no substitution of Brand Name or part numbers is acceptable and you must be an authorized HP reseller. Additionally, the hardware must be in new, unused condition and the packaging seal unbroken. The Naval Inventory Control Point intends to award on a Firm Fixed Price, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. The attachment includes the requirements page with the quantities, description and HP part numbers and the brand name justification.
