Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary for Exterior Painting of Various Buildings at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, 1700 E 38th Street, Marion, IN. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations including general construction, preparing the substrate for new paint, removing existing loose paint, fixing or correcting the substrate and repainting. Loose, missing, rotten or damaged materials are to be replaced to match existing. Proper disposal of lead based paint waste is required. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Applicable NAICS is 238320 0 and $14 million applies. This project is 100% set-aside for a service-disabled veteran owned small business. Completion time is 180 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. Solicitation will be available on or about February 22, 2011, from website http://www.fbo.gov/. Prebid walk through is scheduled for March 1, 2011 at 1:30 PM in Bldg 51 conference room at the VA NIHCS, 1700 E 38th Street, Marion. A public bid opening is scheduled for March 24, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the VA NIHCS, Building 3, 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
