- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials to maintain HVAC systems and respond to routine repairs and emergency calls within various buildings throughout Boston National Historical Park, Boston, Massachusetts. Base period will be from date of award through September 30, 2011 plus up to four additional option years, subject to the availability of funds. Documents will be posted electronically via FedBizOpps on or about March 1, 2011. The contractor is responsible for Quality Control, which includes ensuring accuracy, completeness, and correctness of the work to be performed, including coordination of any disciplines with others. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price contract for the preventative maintenance. The NAICS code and size standard for this procurement are 238220 and $14.0 million. Only one award shall be made. The information on where to submit quotes will be in the solicitation documents. A completed quote package shall include one copy of completed SF1449, Sollicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items with original signature; completed bid schedule and completed Section K, Representations and Certifications. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible quoter whose quote will be most advantageous to the government, considering only price and price related factors included in the request for quotation. Questions concerning this request for quotation must be submitted via e:mail to ellen_barr@nps.gov. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests being sent via mail must contain a verifiable return address or they will not be opened. Paper copies of the solicitation shall not be issued but electronic copies of the solicitation will be available to download on the National Business Center website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) on or about March 1, 2011.
