- The Defense Logistics Agency - Troop Support has a requirement for the supply of Adenovirus Vaccine, NSN 6505-01-578-0003. The vaccine shall be enteric-coated tablets of live, adenovirus type 4 and type 7 suitable for oral administration only. One dose shall constitute one tablet each of adenovirus type 4 and adenovirus type 7 vaccine. Other specification data will be included in the solicitation. The successful contractor shall have FDA approval to supply adenovirus vaccine before award of the contract. The estimated annual requirement is 270,000 doses (540,000 tablets). The actual requirement per year might be more. An indefinite quantity contract is proposed. The quantities indicated are annual estimates only. The Government will guarantee a minimum purchase of 205,000 doses, and there will be an annual maximum of 335,000 doses. The term of the contract is anticipated to include a base year with four annual option periods; or a 3-year base period with a 2-year option period. Ordered quantities shall be delivered to military recruiting activities located throughout the United States. Delivery is scheduled on a monthly basis to these activities. First deliveries should begin 3-6 months after award of contract, or best available delivery negotiated between the contractor and the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
