- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7 Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30903 requires the rebuilding/refurbishment of Buxton Cage Washer (Better Built 6200 Rack and Cage Washer) Unit with Computer Control Panel. Work shall be performed onsite and shall include all new electrical components, new control panel, new gaskets on all parts and new piping where required. Work shall consist of dismantling the existing washer and replacing all required assemblies, fittings and components. A complete statement of work will be included the solicitation which will be issued on or after February 8, 2011. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract. This procurement is 100 percent set-aside small business. The applicable NAISC code is 811310; small business size standard $7.0 million. The RFP number is VA-247-11-RP-0116. Prospective offerors are urged to submit all questions/concerns to Filida.enoch@va.gov. Telephonic requests and /or responses to the solicitation notice will not be honored. Firms offering response to the solicitation shall ensure registration in the Central Contractors Registration Database (CCR) www.ccr.gov.
