- 1. Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, has a requirement for Mortuary Services for handling the remains of deceased military personnel. The contractor shall provide facilities, equipment, licensed personnel, motor vehicles, and furnish professional services and requirements, supplies, death certificates, caskets, urns outer shipping containers, transportation, and perform hygienic practices in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The US Air Force will award a Mortuary Services Blanket Purchase Agreement(s) (BPA) only to fully qualified, licensed professional funeral directors. The contractor shall comply with the highest industry standards in performance of this requirement. The required services are commercial in nature, therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, shall apply to this acquisition. 2. Set Aside: 100% Small Business Set Aside 3. NAICS code: 812210 4. All questions or comments should be emailed to the Contract Specialist, Kathy Wooldridge at kathy.wooldridge@elmendorf.af.mil no later than 1600 Alaska Time on 18 February 2011. 5. Responses shall include: Company name, address, point of contact, phone/fax/email, and business size and status, DUNS number and CAGE code. 6. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this posting nor return any data provided. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award.
