Description
Project Number 636-11-801, Site Prep for SPECT CT. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the Site Prep for SPECT CT project at the Lincoln Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System located at 600 South 70th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68510. Major items of work include but are not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, dumbwaiters, water storage facilities, necessary removal and/or relocation of existing items. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA-263-11-IB-0167 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about February 23, 2011. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled to be held sometime between February 28 and March 4, 2011 (See solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled to be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 150 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
