- Sources Sought Synopsis announcements are issued to assist the Agency in performing market research to determine industry interest and capability. This Source Sought Synopsis is not a request for proposals and at this time, no solicitation exists. Therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. Introduction: The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is seeking interested sources capable of providing App-DNA software product. Background: DTRA's mission is to safeguard America and its allies from Weapons of Mass Destruction (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) and high-yield explosives by providing capabilities to reduce, eliminate, and counter the threat and mitigate its effects. The objective of the future solicitation is to acquire App-DNA Software Application to automate pre-migration application testing and intelligently remediates compatibility issues. Product: The AppTitude application software platform can accelerate application testing and remediation for windows 7, application virtualization and application management projects. Some of the key featured benefits for using this application are: Self-provisioning - facilitates even more automation of the application delivery process and streamlines the application request process from business application owner to low-touch packaging, deployment and testing. Reporting via web client - Management, clients and global team members have easier and faster access to AppTitude reports, and broader support for multiple users. It can also provide deep interrogation, intelligent remediation, action-based reporting, heuristic analyis, full customization, total estate coverage and package generation. The App-DNA product was selected to provide interoperability with existing computer software and infrasturcture and most importantly cost effectiveness in regards to minimizing migratin compatibility issues. Responses: Interested offerors should address in their written response whether they can fulfill this requirement via a GSA schedule, NASA SEWP, NIH, or open market.
