- This is a Sources Sought Announcement. This is not a request for proposal, quotation or bid. This is only a planning document. The US Army Corps of Engineers desires to identify 8(a), Hub-zone certified, service disabled veteran owned small business contractors, and other small business contractors capable of installing Methane gas/Volatile Organic Compound Vapor Barriers. The Baltimore District is seeking qualified contractors who have experience with the above referenced activities. Interested firms shall submit a narrative demonstrating their experience. The narrative shall not exceed six (6) pages (11 font minimum). Tables, charts, graphs, etc. will count towards the six (6) page count total (smaller font is allowable for these items, but the text must be legible). All data received in response to this Sources Sought Notice marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside of the government. Emailed submissions are acceptable. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up requests. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting bid packages or solicitations. There is no bid package or solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made.
