- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the KSC ProtectiveServices Contract (KPSC). Previous releases regarding the KPSC were issued under sourcessought NNK11361110L and NNK11361110La and Draft RFP NNK11361110R. An interested partieslist is located at http://kpsc.ksc.nasa.gov.The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. NASA/KSC intends to award a singleFirm Fixed Price contract with a five year period of performance.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561612 and $18.5 Million, respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about February 22, 2011, with ananticipated offer due date on or about April 22, 2011.The KSC Ombudsman is Mr. Kelvin Manning.
