- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this notice. This is a contract for a non personal service Contract Field Team (CFT) to perform organizational level aircraft maintenance, aircraft recovery services, and logistics support for KC-130J/F/R aircraft for which Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152 (VMGR 152) Aircraft Maintenance Officer (AMO) has responsibility. Additionally it requires CFT labor and services to perform off-site aircraft maintenance. These services will be performed at Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC), III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 36, Marine Aerial Refueler Transportation Squadron 152 (VMGR-152) located on Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. (Please view the attached Draft PWS for a more detailed description) Responses to this RFI should not exceed fifty (50) pages and must contain the following information: a capability statement which includes information of the vendor ™s capability to fulfill this requirement, a cost break down for one-year, service history, and all necessary certifications needed to perform aircraft maintenance on the KC-130. In their response, vendors should clearly mark any information that is proprietary. Responses are due by 08 March 2011. Both e-mail and fax submittals will be accepted. NOTE: This Request for Information is for planning purposes only and is issued in accordance with FAR Clause 52.215-3. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
