- Description
- Defense Logistics Agency, Land & Maritime, Puget Sound, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, intends to solicit for the manufacture of various types and sizes of reference cell assemblies. They all have Lockheed Martin or Electric Boat part numbers. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard does not have access to the drawings and does not have descriptions. Please refer to clause DLAD 52.217-9002 if offering an alternate. Provide FOB Destination pricing to PSNS, Bremerton, WA 98314. Required delivery date is 30 September 2011. This requirement is to be solicited using commercial procedures per FAR Part 12 and 13.5, utilizing Best Value Evaluation (BETA) evaluation factors. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. The anticipated posting date of the solicitaiton is 8 February 2011 with a closing date of 25 February 2011. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendments will be mailed or FAXed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by DLA. Offerrors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.ccr.gov.
