- Description
- Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision and expertise necessary to renovate interior space in building 9 for the Primary Care Mental Health at the Alexandria VAMC, Alexandria, Louisiana. Construction shall include removal of carpet and VCT flooring to be replaced with wood flooring. All rooms with new flooring will receive new vinyl base. The existing wood doors will be removed in order to insert vision panels then returned to original locations. All rooms within scope of work will be repainted. Construction includes electrical lighting fixtures, power and lighting circuitry. Rough-in, wiring and coordination of the government provided systems include telephone, data, and panic buttons. Fire Alarm and Smoke Detection Systems shall be included in electrical work. Mechanical work includes air conditioning equipment within room 128, plumbing fixtures complete with supply and drainage systems. All work shall be performed in accordance to the project plans and specifications. The dollar magnitude is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. NAICS 236220 applies-size standard is $14 million. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All offerors must be registered in VETBIZ at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and at CCR http://www.ccr.gov under NAICS 236220 to be eligible for award. You must register as 'Interested Vendor' at the fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in fedbizopps 'To Receive Notification' for amendments. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the fedbizopps website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. Point of contact for this solicitation is the contracting Officer, Lonest Bonton Jr., email lonest.bonton@va.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted. This is not an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Solicitation No. VA-256-11-IB-0247 will be issued as an IFB construction contract on or about February 18, 2011 and the approximate proposal due date is March 21, 2011. NOTE: This project is subject to the AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
