- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, Vicksburg MS, has a requirement for Operation & Maintenance services to operate, maintain, repair, and inspect one (1) Government owned Gulfstream G-1159 (G-III/C-20) aircraft, and one (1) Government owned hangar facility, located at the Vicksburg Tallulah Regional Airport (TVR), Mound, Louisiana. The G III generally operates within the continental United States; with a majority of its flights confined to an eleven state area in the Mississippi River valley of the United States. Occasionally, missions are required outside the continental United States of America. The successful Contractor will have the direct responsibility to operate & maintain the government furnished aircraft in an airworthy condition as well as maintain the hangar facility including the aircraft storage area, offices, shop, restrooms, parts storage areas, furnishings, ground support equipment and surrounding grounds. Solicitation W912EE-11-R-0005, with a detailed scope of work, will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Page at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 22 February 2011. Hardcopies will not be available. Offerors should check the FedBizOpps Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes or (AMENDMENTS) to the existing solicitation. Offer due date on or about 22 March 2011, 1400 hours. All prospective offerors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registry www.ccr.gov/index.cfm and provide Offeror Representations and Certifications for their company. The preferred method for completing offeror representations and certifications is to register on the ORCA web site at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx. Offerors not wishing to register online shall print and complete and include FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications with their package. This acquisition is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside under the NAICS code 481211 with a small business size standard of 1500 employees.
