- Description
- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE VA-261-10-RP-0358. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21), Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA), 150 Muir Rd., Martinez, California, has a requirement to construct Project # 640-11-121P, Building 6, 'Additional Modular Building' at the VA Medical Center, Palo Alto, California 94304. This project will be the seed project for the award of a minimum of (8) Eight Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC's) via multiple awards Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ's) contracts, multi-trade construction awards. These MATOC contracts will be in support of all (VISN 21) Medical Centers and Facilities supported by the Medical Centers: VA Fresno, California (VACCHCS), Northern California Health Care System (NCHCS), Mather & Martinez, California, VA Honolulu, Hawaii (VAPIHCS), VA San Francisco, California (VASFVAMC), VA Palo Alto, California (VAPAHCS), VA Reno, Nevada (VASNHCS). The types of work to be performed will include General Construction (all trades). The applicable NAICS code(s) for the Seed project and the MATOC's-IDIQ's is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Small Business size standard is $33.5 million in average annual receipts. The term of the IDIQ's Multi-Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) will be a Two-Year Base Period from date of award, with Three (3) one (1) year options to extend. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Interested parties shall be required to be registered in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database. Seed project (640-11-121P) includes but not limited to: Contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, transportation and supervision to construct a new structural steel, pre-engineered insulated building with rooms, storage rooms, electrical and IT closet. Performance time is 180 days. Building to be located close to building 6, first floor of both A-Wing and C- Wing as noted in the drawing. Solicitation, Drawings, Specifications to be available/posted on or about February 14, 2011, in fedbizops. There will be a Pre-Bid/Proposal Conference to answer any questions and to walk to job on February 23, 2011, at the VA Palo Alto (VAPAMC), Palo Alto, California, 94304, in the Medical Center's auditorium, Bldg 101 at 1:00 P. M. Pacific Standard Time (PST).
