- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Northwest is seeking businesses capable of designing, building, installing, and testing a new overhead crane at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor. A description of the work follows: This project provides for new construction of two (2) traveling overhead cranes, each with a span of approximately 200 feet and minimum 120 ton capacity. This project ™s construction features involve new construction in a marine environment, located within a pile-supported wharf structure. The construction complexity consists of limited site access, limited site storage, and work inside and around occupied buildings on an active military installation. In accordance with DFARS 236.204, the project price range is between $10,000,000 and $15,000,000. All businesses are encouraged to respond. The appropriate NAICS Code is 333923. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the acquisition strategy. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this announcement. It is requested that interested sources submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single-spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services identified in this survey.
