- Solicitation Amendment 0002 Change in quantity and item description. A firm fixed price contract for a quantity of 550 EA of NSN 5930-01-316-8989 Switch, Proximity is now anticipated. This requirement is Full & Open Competition and was changed from a QPL source item, to a Contractor First Article Test requirement. There is currently one approved waived source, Marine Electric (00062) P/N M24711/AC-0.5-NO. The valid and acceptable MIL-SPEC for this item is MIL-PRF-24711B(April 2008)superseding MIL-PRF-24711A(May 2001). This is a critical application item. Copies of this solicitation will be available on https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ after 02/22/11.
