- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with the Boeing Company, of St. Louis, MO, for a quantity of two (2) Servocylinder Test Stations (STS), P/N: 74D140080-1009. The STS is a computer controlled hydraulic test station. It performs functional testing of the F/A-18 A-D flight control actuators by performing the majority of the actuator’s acceptance test procedures tests. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
