- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to issue a modification to existing purchase order N00406-11-P-1068, awarded to Alfa Laval, Inc., Chesapeake, VA, on 2 December 2010, using Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 “ a sole source acquisition under the authority of the test program for certain commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The proposed modification is for additional integral repair services including parts to be performed on two Government furnished JP5 purifiers. Based on market research, Alfa Laval, the original equipment manufacturer, is the only company that can fulfill the additional repair requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested companies may submit their interest to the modification requirement by February 9, 2011.
