- RFP VA263-11-RQ-0156 Virology Laboratory Testing Q302 NAICS 621511 The VA Minneapolis Contracting Office, 708 South Third Street, Suite 200E, Minneapolis, MN is seeking vendors capable of providing the Minneapolis VA Health Care System, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine for " Virology testing consisting of laboratory tests for infectious agents; comprehensive conventional viral culturing, antigen testing, direct fluorescent antibody (DFA) testing, PCR, and enzyme immunoassay (EIA) on blood, bone marrow, tissue; body fluids, swabs, and other clinical specimens. These services require a comprehensive conventional viral culturing, antigen testing, direct fluorescent antibody (DFA) testing, PCR, and enzyme immunoassay (EIA) testing laboratory. The contractor's laboratory must be able to provide services Monday through Sunday. Contractor will provide a courier pick up service of specimen(s) from Department of Veterans Affairs Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) Laboratory One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417 the same day as requested furnishing all labor and equipment necessary. The anticipated contract period is from March 1, 2011 through September 30, 2011 with four additional twelve month option periods. It is contemplated that the contract effective date shall be March 1, 2011. If however, the administrative determinations have not yet been completed and award has not been made, the contract will become effective as soon as practicable with no additional cost to the Government for any elapsed time from the original effective date. PROPOSALS MUST BE COMPLETE AND PROVIDE ALL INFORMATION SOUGHT IN THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS. Failure to provide full information may cause proposals to be down-rated in the evaluation process. The Government desires TWO COPIES of the proposals, stapled and not otherwise bound. Solicitation documents are expected to be available on or about February 10, 2011 and can be downloaded at www.fbo.gov. Offers are due Monday, February 28, 2011 at 3:00 CST. Proposals will be sent (or delivered) to arrive by the date and time due. If hand delivered bring to the VA Minneapolis Contracting Office, 708 South Third Street, Suite 200E, Minneapolis, MN 55415. Use the same address for U. S. Mail or other delivery systems/methods. Late proposals will be rejected. Proposals must be in the Government's custody by the due date and time.
