- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District has a requirement for a detailed analysis of groundwater conditions through the short path seepage area to evaluate potential failure modes and seepage control alternatives. This detailed analysis would require recalibration of the original groundwater model using the latest data, development of a finer mesh through the short path seepage area, and an evaluation to decrease the uncertainty in flow through the short path seepage area and drainage tunnel in the manner as set forth in the performance work statement. ***NOTE: The Government intends to award a sole source follow-on contract to S.S. Papadopulos & Associates, Inc.
