- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the followingCommercial items: 1-Two (2) Mikron MCS640 Fixed Installation Thermal Imaging Cameras for Industrialand Scientific Applications. Each camera must have:Near Infrared (IR) Uncooled Solid State Focal Plane Array Detector with UniqueAnti-blooming, Low Pattern Noise and Superior Stability.Spectral Response: Designed to image target through glass, quartz and sapphirewindows or open air field Hardware Configuration: Spectral Response 780-1080nm Integrated 12mm Focal Length, 22.5H x 17V Field of View Wide angle LensIntegrated 25mm Focal Length, 10.8H x 8.1V Field of View Lens Autorange with manual override at processor Range Overlap - provided and selected for stability Measurement Accuracy: +-0.5% or 1oC (whichever is greater) Image update rate: 60Hz Imager to computer processor Interconnect: Gigabit Ethernet Includes Certificate of Calibration, traceable to NIST Includes imager Operating Manual Includes telephone startup assistance Temperature Range Configuration: Range 1: 800C to 1250C Range 2: 1100C to 1830C Range 3: 1600C to 3000C 2-One (1) Integrated 12mm Focal Length, 22.5H x 17V Field of View Wide angle Lens3-One (1) Integrated 25mm Focal Length, 10.8H x 8.1V Field of View Lens 4-One (1) 8mm Focal Length Extra Wide Angle Lens: Field of View: 33.3H x 25.3V 5-One (1) 50mm Focal Length 2X Telephoto Lens: Field of View: 5.4H x 4.0V 6-One (1) 75mm Focal Length 3X Telephoto Lens: Field of View: 3.5H x 2.6V 7-One (1) PCI Express (Network) Card for Laptop 8-One (1) PCI Express (Network) Card for Desktop 9-One (1) Crossover Cable, CAT 6e, 25m Other requirements:- The IR camera acquisition and reduction software shall be a customized version of theexisting NASA/ARCs Mikron MikroSpec R/T version 3.9200.6129.- The data reduction portion of the software shall allow easy exporting of the IR datainto JPEG, Tiff, or Excel embedded images that contain spatial and temperatureinformation of the IR images, and separately, the software shall also allow exporting ofthe captured IR images into a video file.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.Prospective offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system may be accessed athttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=.The information requiredby FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail only) to UyenTu at Uyen.K.Tu@nasa.gov no later than 02/21/2011. Prospective offerors shall notify thisoffice of their intent to submit a quotation.
