- This project is for construction projects and design-build projects at various locations in U. S. Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS)Iwakuni, Japan and at the Station controlled area around Iwakuni. This contract includes base period and two(2) option periods.(Maximum 1 year each). Contractors shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, and transportation, except otherwise specified herein, necessary to perform various repairs, alteration, construction and demolition work to shore facilities. The scope of work specified in each task order issued under this contract may include, but is not limited to, office renovation, building demolition, equipment repair/replacement, plumbing repair/replacement, electrical work, carpentrywork, site work, road pavement, fencing, roofing, painting, concrete work, masonry, removal and disposal of lead based paint and asbestos containing material. Tentative schedule: RFP issue on around 28 Feb 2011
