- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l00, plans to procure on a sole source basis, one thousand (1,000) Solidtron High Voltage Switches, NMOS Controlled Thyrister, P/N VCS-FF-05N14-A10 from Silicon Power Corporation, 275 Great Valley Parkway, Malvern, PA 19355-1433 (D&B/Cage # 847039591/0LXS3). These switches are proprietary and patented and only available from Silicon Power. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized in this procurement. There will be no written solicitation issued as a result of this notice. These items shall be shipped to the Receiving Officer, 6620 Tisdale Road, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5114. Questions regarding this notice may be directed to phone number 540-653-4654, referencing RFQ N00178-11-Q-2402. This requirement shall close on 10 February 2011. Award is expected on or before 17 February 2011. Deliveries shall be staggered, the first 500 pieces on or before 15 April 2011, the balance shipped in 250 piece increments on/before 05/06/2011 & 05/27/2011.
