- A firm, fixed price contract is anticipated for 13 each of NSN 5930-01-454-0373: switch assembly, being bought in accordance with approved sources: (26512) Northrop Grumman p/n 160D181165-5 (52977) Miller Stuart p/n 160D181165-5 I/A/W Northrop Grumman Drawing (26512) 1260D181165 Item is coded 3C -- Contracting from an approved source. Critical Item. Based on Market Research, this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The required quantity of 13 will be shipped as follow: 8 each to (W25G1U) New Cumberland PA 17070-5002; and 5 each to (W62G2T) Tracey CA 95304-5000. FOB destination and inspection at destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of February 22, 2011. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is a set aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will b e based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic and JWOD. The required delivery is 180 days. One of more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
