- Z- North Fork Deep Creek Trailhead Project Location: From Townsend,MT head west on highway 12 approx. 12 miles to North Fork Deep Creek Road, turn north and travel approx. 2.3 miles to "T" intersection and turn east. Travel approx. 2 miles to Forest Boundary and Project location. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools and materials to Construct parking areas and berm. Work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment construction, haul and place aggregate, install, seeding and associated work as required by the drawings and specifications. AN ALTERNATE BID ITEM WILL INCLUDE: Furnish and install new concrete SST Toilet and remove old toilet to include buried vault. This work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, haul and placing aggregate, remove old toilet, and furnish and install new solar convecting vault toilet and associated work, as required by the drawings and specifications. The Forest Service may or may NOT award this alternative work dependant upon budget and funding. It is estimated that work will begin on June 1, 2011. Contract time will run continuously for 30 days after the notice to proceed is issued. A Pre-bid tour will be held at the Project Site prior to closing of quotes.
