- Solicitation SP0600-11-R-0202 is for the procurement of Distillates for ships' bunkers at various ports in SOUTHCOM. Distillates are Marine Gas Oil, NSN: 9140-01-417-6843. The total estimated quantity is 110,782 Metric Tons (MT) of Marine Gas Oil. Aviation Turbine Fuel (JP5) NSN: 9130-01-499-9521 would also be solicited for 3 line items for a total JP5 estimated quantity of 1,484 Metric Tons (MT). Fuel is to be delivered as ships' bunkers into U. S. vessels for DoD and Federal Civilian agencies by barge, truck, or pipeline. Ordering period is October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2013. Delivery period is October 1, 2011 through October 31, 2013. These are Requirements-Type, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment Contracts. Facsimile offers are acceptable. INT-I209.09 EXTENSION PROVISIONS (DLA ENERGY JUL 2009) The Government shall have the right to extend this contract on the same terms and conditions one or more times for a total of no more than six months. Notice of contract extension will be furnished to the Contractor not later than 30 days prior to expiration of the contract ordering period or any extension thereof. Nothing in this clause precludes the Contractor from agreeing to an extension of the contract if the DLA ENERGY Contracting Officer fails to issue the notice prior to 30 days before the end of the ordering period.
