- Description
- The National Park Service (NPS) has a need for a vendor to provide and install, operate and maintain webcams at 6 separate sites on the Elwha River, near Port Angeles, Washington. These cameras will monitor the demolition and area restoration during and after the removal of Glines Canyon and Elwha Dams. Five sites will have a fixed view and one site will need to span a 170 degree view field either by wide angle lense or by a series of panoramic shots covering the view field. Real-time remote or on-demand rotation capability is not required, nor is video streaming. Photographs must be captured every 30 minutes during daylight hours. No electrical power or internet portal will be available at any of the sites. The vendor shall be responsible for determining and providing the power and data transmission methods at each site. In addition the vendor shall host a website, at a secure, fixed IP address, for public viewing of the 6 camera images. A dashboard or homepage displaying all 6 sites is required, plus the ability for any user to view a larger image of the most current image from any of the sites. The images will be periodically updated to show the most current image taken. The vendor shall archive each image for the duration of the project and provide all images from each site to the contracting officer on a monthly basis. The contract duration may extend 5 years and will commence approximately June 15, 2011. Please provide your best contract vehicle (i.e., GSA, SEWP) information.
