- CHANGE AS OF 2 FEB 11: There are concerns from numerous potential offers that inclement weather in and around Scott AFB, IL will prevent the delivery of the required hard copies of proposals before the current proposal due date. The Government's response is in accordance with FAR 15.208(b)(1)(i) which states: " (i) If it was transmitted through an electronic commerce method authorized by the solicitation, it was received at the initial point of entry to the Government infrastructure not later than 5:00 p.m. one working day prior to the date specified for receipt of proposals;" Our solicitation requires an electronic copy be submitted by e-mail in addition to the hard copies. Therefore, to alleviate concerns noted above, receipt of the electronic copy prior to the due date prescribed by the FAR (5:00 PM CST on 2 Feb) will be sufficient for a proposal to be considered "on time" even if the required hard copies are not received on time. Bottom line is, please e-mail your electronic proposals to the addresses listed in the solicitation prior to 5 PM CST today.
