- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren division, intends to procure on a sole source basis the following items from General Dynamics C4 Systems, 8201 East McDowell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257: CLIN 0001: MTX 1.5 Blue Force Tracking Transmitter, P/N 01-P57410M001, Qty: 67 CLIN 0002: 14 Whip Antenna, P/N 181BC-355SHW, Qty: 67 CLIN 0003: Active L1 GPS Antenna, P/N AT575-590-SMAF-3V, Qty: 67 CLIN 0004: 30ft Piggy Back Power Cable, P/N 30-P59758N030, Qty: 42 CLIN 0005: 10ft Piggy Back Power Cable, P/N 30-P59758N010, Qty: 9 CLIN 0006: Manpack Mounting Bracket, P/N 01-P53861F001, Qty: 41 CLIN 0007: 28V Power Converter (Piggy Back), P/N 01-P59743N003, Qty:51 CLIN 0008: Flying Leads to LEMO Power Cable, P/N 30-P58902N001, Qty:2 CLIN 0009: Full Programming Cable, P/N 30-P50022L001, Qty: 15 CLIN 0010: Battery Replacement Kit, P/N MTX Battery Kit, Qty 6 The requisite transmitters and supplies will be used to support existing program efforts. These items are currently fielded throughout the program and are required to maintain the commonality of equipment configuration to ensure compatibility and interoperability with existing systems. The use of any other item would require additional testing and certification efforts, which would cause the Government to incur unacceptable schedule delays and additional costs. General Dynamics C4 Systems is the developer and sole distributor of these proprietary items. No other items will meet the Government s need.
