- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PURCHASE UNDERWAY SEAFET PH/TEMPERATURE SENSORS (I)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II)This solicitation is issued as a notice of intent to sole source with University of California, Sand Diego Scripps Institution of Oceanography, however any quotes received within the 7 day posting period will be considered. Submit written quotes on RFQ Number PMEL-11-02446. (III)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49. (IV)This solicitation is being issued with no Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 611310. (V)This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial items: Per Specification. (VI)Description of requirements is as follows: Per Specification. (VII)Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance: 1 April. 2011. Delivery shall be FOB ORIGIN. (VIII) FAR 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications applies to this acquisition. (IX) Offers that meet the required specifications will be evaluated solely on price, on an all or none basis. (X) The clause at FAR 52.213-4, Terms and Conditions, Simplified Acquisitions (Other Than Commercial Items) (XI) The clause at FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration, applies to this acquisition. (XII) Quotes are required to be received in the contracting office no later than 12:00 P.M. PST/PDT on 02/09/2011. All quotes must be faxed or emailed to the attention of Ben Carlson.
