Description
Mil spec for production of energy dissipation pads. Little Rock Air Force Base is seeking firms with experience in manufacturing or supplying Energy Dissipating Pads (NSN 1670-00-753-3928) that comply with MIL-PRF-9884F, see attached specifications. All parts provided by the manufacturer must be Mil Spec and approved by Department of the Army, Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center. The manufacturer must be able to provide a minimum of 20 BX (boxes) no later than 15 February 2011, with capability to deliver follow-on shipments in quantities of approximately 20-40 BX per week for the period of at least four months after the initial delivery. Each box is capable of producing 8 Container Delivery Systems for airdrop utilization. The pads must be U.S manufactured. The Government is requesting information in the form of quantities currently in stock and available for immediate delivery, ability and lead time to manufacture the energy dissipating pads within Mil Spec standards, and estimated price including delivery to Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, 72099. Estimate delivery in quantities of 20 BX. Interested firms or parties having information should reply by email no later than 7:30am CST, February 4, 2011 to Keith A. The following information should be part of the email notice of interest: Contractor name; Dunn and Bradstreet (DUNS) Number, Cage Code and Headquarters address; Point of contact with telephone number and email address; Size of business; and country represented in which manufacturing takes place; All submittals responding with ability to manufacture should provide proof that manufacturing standards are approved by Department of the Army, Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center to conform with MIL-PRF-9884F.
