- N6945011NMEUS NOTICE OF INTENT - NAS Meridian, MS Electric Utility Service The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, intends to award a contract to one source (East Mississippi Electric Power Association - EMEPA) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 and 40 U.S.C. 113(e)(3) which authorizes the Department of Defense to acquire utility services for military facilities. This contract is for electric utility services in support of NAS Meridian, MS. The interested party must be a utility/commodity provider. Interested electric utility service providers may identify their interest and ability to meet the requirements stated herein and may submit their corporate capabilities for consideration. The submission must include the NAICS code and Cage Code. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Responses to this posting must be submitted to tia.scott@navy.mil in PDF format no later than 24 February 2011.
