- Description
- USPFO of Louisiana intends to award a sole source procurement to the Sheraton (Cage Code: 1YD66), 500 Canal St New Orleans, LA 70130. The award will be made to accommodate the overflow of soldiers from the Yellow Ribbon 30/60 day post deployment workshop dated 10-13 Mar 2011. The requirements include 675 rooms & parking spaces from 10-12 Mar 2011, and walking distance proximity to the Morial Convention center, which is the site for the Yellow Ribbon workshop. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Sheraton is the only known source that can satisfy the government's requirements on these dates. All qualified sources must respond not later than 8 Feb 2011, 1100 hours CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
