- USPFO of Louisiana intends to award a sole source procurement to Aramark Sports and Entertainment, LLC (Cage Code: 61UD7), 403 N 3RD ST Richmond, VA 23219. The award will be made to provide meals for 4,245 soldiers from 12 to 13 Mar for the Yellow Ribbon post deployment workshop at the Morial Convention Center. Aramark is the vendor contracted by the city of New Orleans to cater events at the Morial Convention Center. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Aramark Sports and Entertainment, LLC is the only known source that can satisfy the government's requirements on these dates. All qualified sources must respond not later than 8 Feb 2011, 1100 hours CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
