- Description
- The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (soldier, Chemical, Research & Test) Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, has a requirement for Facilities Support Services. This announcement constitutes an official presolicitation notice. This procurement is advertised as a competitive 8(a) acquisition and is restricted to certified 8(a) concerns pursuant to FAR Part 19.8. All other firms are ineligible to submit proposals. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561210 with a size standard of 35.5 million. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide facilities support services to the Edgewood Chemical and Biological Center Aberdeen Proving Ground (Edgewood Area), MD 21010. The Major tasks include facilities management, warehouse operations, and equipment management. The Government is soliciting for the award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of a one year base with four one year options. The evaluation technique to be utilized for the contemplated award of the issued solicitation is Best Value. The Government anticipates the issuance of the Request for Proposal (RFP)on or about 22 February 2011. The target award date is 24 May 2011. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications at the online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://orca.bpn.gov. The RFP, W91ZLK-11-R-0004, will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry website at the following address https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. This presolicitation notice replaces that of W91ZLK-09-R-0009. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website.
