- The Department of Veterans Affair, VISN 7 Network Contracting Activity, intends to negotiate sole source procurement in accordance with Far Part 12 and Far Part 13.5 with MD Consult, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is for online subscription access provides a Search engine type benefit of over 430 medical journals, Topic Reviews comprised of over 7700 topic discussions and graphics, Medline abstracts and a complete drug database,. On-line subscription also covers nineteen medical specialties and subspecialties such as: Adult and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Adult Primary Care and Internal Medicine, Allergy and Immunology, Cardiovascular, Dermatology, Endocrinology and Diabetes, etc. for the VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA. The NACIS code is 511210 a size standard 500 employees. This Source Sought Notice of intent is Not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by submitting literature and documentation, detailing their experience in providing these products, to the Contracting Officer via email or fax at 334-395-4070. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
