- Description
- The U.S. Maritime Administration intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis services from TECHNICAL MARINE SERVICES, INC., d/b/a TMS, 6040 N CUTTER CIRCLE SUITE 302, PORTLAND, OR 97217-3956, to troubleshoot and repair the TS STATE OF MAINE propulsion control and automation system. The TS STATE OF MAINE is berthed at her pier at the Maine Maritime Academy, 1 Water Street, Castine, ME 04420. TMS designed and installed the propulsion control and automation system, and possesses unique knowledge of the system necessary to accomplish this requirement with the maximum efficiency and minimum risk. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements by emailing their Capability Statement (CS) or faxing the CS at 757-322-5858 by 1430 ET, February 2, 2011. Capability statements must include documentation establishing the ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. Any information received will be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. Interested persons should identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
