- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitationfor bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identifypotential offerors to Repair Sludge Digestor at Waste Water Treatment Plant,Bldg. 439, Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily, Italy by means of a firmfixed price construction contract. The requirements will be procuredutilizing simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110. The estimated price range is between ?18,030.00 and ?72,120.00 Euros. The anticipated requirement includes but not limited to labor, material,equipment, etc. for demolition and disposal of flooring, removal of existingdrive motor, shaft, scrapers, support assemblies, installation of newconcrete flooring, installation of new steel scraper system including motorand gearbox with new stainless steel drive shaft, scrapers and supportsystem. The anticipated period of performance is 90 calendar days. Bidders can view and/or download the solicitation via the European NavyElectronic Commerce Online (EURONECO) website at https://euro.neco.navy.mil when it becomes available. All interestedofferors shall register at this website. However, registration does notrelease bidders from the responsibility of checking the solicitation dailyfor any amendments or other notices. The solicitation is expected to beposted on 9 February 2011. Quotes are expected to be due on 11 March 2011at 2:00PM Central European Time (CET). All dates are tentative and aresubject to change. This is an internet only solicitation so paper copieswill not be provided.
