- J&A Sole Source It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract. This agency intends to award a purchase order to Thermwood Corporation, 904 Buffaloville RD. Dale, IN 47523-9057. 6 FSS requires the following: - The 6 FSS is in need of a complete nested based CNC routing system with moving gantry, fixed table for machining cabinets, custom furniture and support products. A contract for Thermwood Cabinet Shop Series CNC Router, Model CS43-510, will be awarded to Thermwood Corporation following no response back to this notice of intent. The purchase of the Thermwood Cabinet Shop Series CNC Router, Model CS43-510 must be done through Thermwood Corporation because Thermwood is the only contractor that provides the eCabinetsystems software integrated to the CNC Router with unlimited access to all the design libraries among other required capabilities. Refer to the attached J&A for further information. Market research was conducted for the purchase of Thermwood Cabinet Shop Series CNC Router, Model CS43-510 and Thermwood Corporation is the only contractor found able to supply this product as MacDill AFB requires. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contracting officer before the date listed on this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.
