Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-11-RP-0048 for the following service: The contractor shall be required to provide inscriptions on granite and marble headstones, markers and niche covers for a base period of Award of Contract to September 30, 2011 and three option years if exercised for Eagle Point/Roseburg Nation Cemeteries. Potential offerors will submit, at contractor expense, one inscription granite niche cover as a sample representative of the work to be done, the sample should be in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample should be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for all work at the cemetery: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Price, 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3) Past Performance. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business (SB). The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about January 28, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 2:00 P.M. on February 11, 2011. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. ****NOTE - All potential offerors who have submitted and received approval notification for a sample of same type within the last 12 months may submit a copy of that approved review to MPS and the bid to avoid submitting another sample.*****
