- The US Marine Corps Logistics Command will be soliciting requests for quotes from business entities in support of annual and preventive maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply and Battery Banks. Scope: The LOGCOM C4 Enterprise Support Division plays a vital role in ensuring logistics lines of business applications remain functional and able to meet the demands of the logistics community. These business application and servers are protected from power outages, surges, spikes, and brownouts by a Liebert 500KVA; Model Number: UDA63500A36A255; Part Number: 02-797657-64; Serial number: C253071/29717; and are in the Liebert Battery Cabinet Model: U36SP500UJBNUUU, BPAJ2F2403600 for Battery FRB2-370. Batteries are C&D Technologies MR12-400 (UPS12-370FR) Strings: 3 Batteries per string: 40. Should the UPS and Batteries incur severe damage, the result would cause the UPS to be in Bypass Mode which means the datacenter which houses the servers and applications would then be susceptible to power outages, surges, spikes, and brownouts. If any of these events (power outages, surges, spikes, and brownouts) should occur, server crashes, hardware damage, and lost data would render the entire datacenter useless. In the event of a UPS down, services and data would not be available to our customers, and many hours of rework would be required to rebuild the services. Items to be maintained: UPS: Liebert 500KVA; Model Number: UDA63500A36A255; Part Number: 02-797657-64; and Serial number: C253071/29717. Full service, 2 Preventive Maintenance (PM) 4 Hour Response. 24/7 technical support (365 days per year). Contractor shall cover all parts, labor, travel and onsite time. Batteries: C&D Technologies MR12-400 (UPS12-370FR) Strings: 3 Batteries per string: 40. Contractor shall `provide preventive maintenance as outlined. The batteries are in three (3) Liebert Battery Cabinet Model numbers U36SP500UJBNUUU, BPAJ2F2403600 for Battery FRB2-370. Solicitation M67004-11-Q-0082 will be issued to support the requirement. This initiative will fall under FAR Part 13 procedures. The Solicitation will be issued as Full & Open competition with the resultant purchase order being a Firm Fixed Price order for a 1 year base period and 4 one-year options. The solicitation will be issued approximately 9 February 2011 via NECO. All work will be performed at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA. FSC J070 NAICS-811212
