- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to solicit and award, through full and open competition, an indefinite delivery, indefinitequantity (IDIQ) type contract for repair, modification, or improvements to eleven (11) 34 foot, Hydrographic Survey Launches (HSLs), with open aft cockpit, fore and aft cabin, and mid engine; one (1) 1985, 46 foot, sport yacht know as the Bertram Training Boat; one (1) 40 foot, aluminum Mine Hunter Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull (SWATH); and one (1) Zodiac 7m Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB), survey boats and associated systems. Boats are stationed either at Stennis Space Center, MS or the Boat Operations Branch facility located at the Pass Christian Harbor, MS. The scope of work requires a qualified boat yard, located within 120 nautical miles of the Pass Christian Harbor, MS, to make repairs to the hull/systems of the HSLs/survey boats as problems occur. The period of performance is a base one year period from date of award, plus two (2) one-year options. Contract value is estimated at $499K. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business and will be processed in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A firm-fixed price award is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Potential offerors are hereby notified that this office no longer issues hard copies of the solicitation or amendments.
